Primary Duties and Responsibilities


You'll be part of a team responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance activities and assisting operations at our golf course, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest specification and that a quality service is provided.

You'll also ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, and equipment is kept in a safe working condition.


Main job tasks, Duties and responsibilities
Undertake all grounds maintenance works to specification achieving the highest standards at all times

Operation of commercial ped mowers, small machinery, hedge cutters, strimmers and blowers

Operating non-technical tractors

Comply with Company H&S Policies and Procedures

Adhere to company standards such as risk assessments and COSHH

Timely and accurate reporting of near misses, accidents, and incidents,

Responsibility for keeping machinery and equipment in good working condition and expediting rectification of faults etc

Communication with clients and customers

Any other reasonable management request


Essential Criteria
Flexible approach to work schedule and start times - weekend work included.

Requirement to work outside in all weather conditions - PPE supplied.

Ability to work on own initiative.

Ability to work as part of team.

Work is physically demanding and requires a suitable level of ability for manual handling.


Desirable Criteria
Previous experience working in golf course maintenance or similar field.

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

Spraying certificates - PA1 PA6.

Knowledge of relevant machinery and turf maintenance practices.
