£23,600 + Fantastic Benefits Package / Hybrid Working

The role would suit an individual that has worked within a transactional finance role previously, or someone with a strong administrative background that is looking to make a move into the world of accountancy.

You will possess excellent communication skillsand have the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently to ensure the office runs smoothly.

You will have a desire to progress within the accountancy profession and long-term my client is happy to offer on the job training, in order for you to develop and progresswithin the role.

Key responsibilities will include:

1) Managing the purchase ledger inbox

2) Dealing with account queries

3) Ensuring all the invoices are ready for payment

4) High volume data entry and scanning of invoices

5) Dealing with all incoming post

6) Processing approvals

7) Ad hoc tasks to support the finance team

Person Specification:

1) Early stages AAT studier

2) It is vital you possess strong IT skills especially in the use of Microsoft Excel

3) Good attention to detail

4) Accuracy

5) Willingness and enthusiasm to learn

6) Ability to take direction, learn and roll up your sleeves in order to get the work done

7) Hungry and determined to succeed

Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play an integral part of the team.

The role will evolve over time and after a probationary period, my client would be happy to support with your AAT studies.
