Location:
Telford

Salary:
up to £43k (inc shift)

Shift: 4 on 4 off (6:00-18:30,18:30-6:00)
A food manufacturer in Telford is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team

Maintenance Engineer - Overview

Ensure that Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with scheduled plans and effective and efficient corrective action is taken.
Quick and effective response to breakdowns in more than one area onsite, where possible identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns occurring.
Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to the Engineering Shift Manager /Principal Engineer and work with the operations department to minimize plant disruption.
Mentor to Level 1/2 Maintenance Engineers as well as Apprentices.
Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plant downtime and minimize downtime by following good engineering practice.
Demonstrate basic problemsolving techniques to identify root cause of issues.
Raise Stock and Non-Stock request forms.

**Maintenance Engineer

Job Requirements**:
Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering or studying towards it
4+ years of engineering experience
Selfmotivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timelinedriven environment
Interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
