Behaviour Mentor

Location:
Wednesbury

Colmore Education are currently looking for a behaviour mentor to work long-term with pupils in a Secondary PRU school.


You will be

  • Working onetoone with children with behavioural challenges.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a team.
  • Adapting to the needs of the children and providing the best support and guidance possible.
  • Mitigating conflict.
  • Building rapport and relationships with students to create encouraging and proactive classroom environments.

You must

  • Be patient and compassionate.
  • Be tolerant and understanding.
  • Be able to maintain a strong yet compassionate approach to discipline.
  • Have previous experience working with children with SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • Have experience working with children KS3 and above.
