The Role


We have an exciting new opportunity for a Talent & Resourcing Executive to join our team on a permanent basis in either London or Manchester.


In collaboration with the Head of Production Finance, you'll be responsible for leading the Production Finance talent strategy and day to day operational sourcing, selection and hiring of production finance roles creating a team of high quality, diverse talent.

You'll also lead the creation and ongoing management of a new, industry leading production finance academy.

This role would be suitable for someone with a strong background working in Talent, Production Finance or Production Management.


Key responsibilities

Talent Strategy and Outreach

  • Partner with the Head of Production Finance and the production and finance leads from each label to understand the content pipeline and identify likely resource and skills required within appropriate time frames
  • Work with ITV Studios scripted labels to build upon their network of freelance production accountants and to manage resource as needed
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of production finance and the talent industry landscape to be able to talk and advise knowledgeably on the best talent/skillset solutions across a range of genres, sites and labels
  • Lead and champion activity to support ITV's social partnership strategy and identify and implement ways to ensure our teams are fully representative. Engage actively in all ITV diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders and key industry partners to lead activity and projects to improve our approach to hiring and drive future pipelines of high quality, diverse talent through networking events, CV clinics and mentoring championing ITV as a great place to work
  • Act as ITV Ambassador in the external market advising organisations so that their strategies and activity are appropriate and relevant to ITV Studios' needs working with them to identify and address skills gaps as required
  • Ensure social media strategy is relevant, compliant and appropriately supports wider talent strategy
  • Ensure senior management teams are kept abreast of issues, trends, opportunities and threats in relation to talent and lead activity to capitalise or resolve them
  • Monitor market rates for key talent and ensure the team have a framework to work to so that ITV remains competitive and production costs are controlled, negotiating rates where appropriate
  • Ensure there is a framework for monitoring feedback on freelance production finance talent towards the end of each production, providing feedback and taking appropriate action if required

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead the creation and ongoing management of a production finance academy with line management responsibility for all production finance trainees
  • Keep abreast of creative and industry trends so that team culture and activity is forwardthinking and relevant
  • Work to raise profile of talent team activity and partner with the other ITV Studios Talent Execs, the Head of Production Talent and HR to deliver a first rate talent function, sharing ideas and ensuring consistent ways of working across the labels
  • Drive a high performance team culture understanding the skillset and aspirations of all team members so they are given optimum opportunity to increase and widen their achievements and skillset

Processes, Procedures and Compliance

  • In conjunction with HR colleagues ensure all team practices and approaches to talent sourcing and selection adhere fully to ITV's policies and procedures with regard to employment, tax and GDPR legislation thereby minimising ITV's exposure to risk
