There is an exciting opportunity for a positive, caring and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our Gynaecology team in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and Gynaecology Outpatients based within the new Emerson Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.

You will be rotating between Early Pregnancy Unit and Gynaecology Outpatients.

When based within the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit you will support the Nurses with triage and assessment of women either contacting or attending the Unit with early pregnancy concerns, providing support with venepuncture and cannulation where required and ensuring compassionate care is given at all times.


You will also provide support for the Gynaecology Outpatient Department when required, assisting with both procedural and general gynaecology clinics working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality outpatient care to women.


The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has circa 500 beds, 28 wards and serves a population of around 278,800 people who are living in three counties of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
