    Accurate processing of clients' financial data and the preparation of annual financial accounts and associated outputs therefrom within the timeframe agreed with the client or required by statute.

    Liaising with the audit team to ensure that financial statements are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis to allow audit procedures to be completed and key deadlines met.

    Management of a portfolio of clients including complex financial statements (such as consolidation and IFRS)

    Supporting Business Outsource Services Support (BOSS) team on researching technical queries following BOS internal and external requests, reporting findings to management via technical summaries and advising as required.

    Training and development of junior staff.

    Line management including monitoring of direct line staff performance, carrying out appraisals and ensuring feedback given to staff on a timely basis.

    Support other managers within the team with various administrative tasks and projects that arise from time to time
    Ensure quality is consistent and to a high level across all outputs.

    Interactions with clients to undertake accounting work as required - both over telephone/e-mail and potentially occasional on-site client visits.

    Work closely with the audit and business tax teams to provide a seamless service to clients and ensure deadlines are met.

    Be prepared to share ideas about how best to operate the accounts preparation process in order to improve efficiencies for the firm.

    Prior experience of computerised accounting packages including cloud-based software.

    Results orientated to meet and exceed client expectations, with a key focus on delivering high quality work that consistently meets internal and/or external client deadlines.

    ACCA or equivalent qualification or qualified by experience.
