Apprenticeship

About the role

  • As an Apprentice Sales Executive you will be working as part of the B2B sales team, learning how to build strong relationships, negotiate, influence, plan, organise and communicate brand plans with internal and external partners. You will work within a category ( Body, Hair, Colour or Skincare) reporting into the Sales Mgr., Your daily routine will include, chasing sales orders, reviewing partner assortments, assets, analysing sell in and sell out data, preparing for partner brand presentations and generally learning how to become the best sales executive you can be. Initially you will shadow an Account Mgr and then be allocated a number of accounts to be responsible for._

What you'll be doing

  • Building strong external relationships with the retailers buying, merchandising, PR teams to ensure THG Brands are the partner of choice
  • Communicating efficiently across multiple departments to drive sell in results by brand, by retailer
  • Create monthly call/ meeting planning and record actions and follow up accordingly
  • Prospecting strategic new business; new accounts, expansion on current accounts and new SKU assortments. Presenting and securing NPD/new listings in both current and new doors to achieve growth.
  • Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, activating trade marketing plans to ensure sell out budget is achieved
  • Collaborate with partners to create Joint Business Plans (JBP)
  • Strong knowledge of the market landscape, competitors etc to establish new opportunities
  • Ensure full order process and order fulfilment is optimal to customer recommendations
  • Managing availability and capability of product to service accounts
  • Synergise offering between our online and offline sales streams
  • Driving product category growth ahead of department performance
  • Commercially focused on improving existing business though driving new product development, average order value and average unit value
  • Successful forecasting of monthly sales, NPD and promotional activity.
  • Formulate customer specific needs analysis
  • Strategic meetings twice per year. Plan internally with the brands and present to the partners New Product Development (NPD) for the year ahead.
  • Monitor NPD launches per partner
