Jackson Hogg Supply Chain division are partnering with a manufacturing business near Hexham on the appointment of a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

This is a full time and permanent role and is a stand-alone Supply Chain role for the business. The salary on offer is up to £35,000 per annum and WFH would be on an adhoc basis. They also offer 25 days holiday plus bank hols.


The Role:


  • Work with Head of Operations to source the right products
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Track goods from origin to delivery
  • Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
  • Ensure you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain
  • Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
  • Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers
  • Manage and minimise the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
  • Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets
  • Maintain the Quality Management System for Purchasing
  • Work with outsourced IT consultants to maintain internal IT system

The Person/Specification:


  • Ideally at least 5 years' in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role
  • Must be able to drive and have access to own car based on office location
  • Manufacturing experience would be desirable
  • Strong negotiation skills
