What does the role look like?
Shifts:
Double days (Rotational) - 06:00-14:00 /14:00-22:00
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- Carry out General Assembly Duties
- Follow instructions and adhere to processes contained within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ensure high level of 5S, keeping all working areas clean and tidy at all times including: Clean Floors, Work Surfaces, Machines and Equipment
- Ensure all equipment and machinery is used in the correct, safest and most efficient way at all times
- Ensure that all assembly and production is completed in line with customer requirements and in line with the Business Plan
- Carry out TPM
- Support continuous improvement and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement
- Operating machinery to ensure production targets are met
What will you bring to the role?
Desirable skills:
- You will be able to read, understand and follow SOP's (work instructions)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to identify and be able to question substandard process/product
- Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative. (Logical and systematic approach)
- PC Literate
- Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills
- Previous machining experience desired
