Are you experienced Missing Children's Co-ordinator looking for a new challenge? Reed are proud to working in conjunction with the local authority to find an experienced person, who is looking for a new challenge.

• Daily recording of information relating children and young people that are missing from home or from care services
• Scrutinise activity relating to children going missing, sharing information particularly in relation to risks or harm and especially when these identify associates who are missing together or locations.
• Attending Strategy Meetings for individual children.
• Support service providers to conduct Independent Return Interviews and oversee the commission (currently RUNA).
• Promote and oversee compliance by providers and social care staff re the Looked After Child and Missing Protocol, particularly for Bolton children placed out of borough.
• Ensure compliance with Statutory Guidance and GM Protocol.
• Providing information, briefings, presentations, and analysis where appropriate to partners

• Proven experience in similar role supporting children and young people missing from home
• Familiarity with statutory guidance and social care process
• Strong ability to record, scrutinise and analyse sensitive information. Experience of conducting strategy meeting and independent return interviews
• Highly developed communication skills and able to present information clearly and affectively
• DBS on update service and availability to start on project ASAP.

• Hourly salary of £16.63 to £18.52 (PAYE) and weekly pay
