Lynx Employment Services are a professional recruitment company based in Attercliffe. Established in 2001, we have provided temporary and permanent staff to many different public and private companies.


We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative with a full clean driving licence.

Successful applicants must ideally have experience in Grounds Maintenance,


Duties of the role include:

  • The use of horticultural machinery and equipment up to and including rideon mowers
  • The use of hand tools
  • To undertake some duties without direct supervision, such as emptying bins, litter picking and general gardening
  • To undertake general gardening and environmental maintenance duties including, for instance, hedge cutting, pruning, grass cutting, litter picking, flytipped and other rubbish removal, using appropriate equipment as directed by a supervisor
  • Taking care for health and safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their activities, and where appropriate, safe guarding the health and safety of all persons under their control/guidance in accordance within the provision of health and safety legislation.
  • Exercising proper care in handling/operating/safeguarding any equipment/appliances provided
  • Any other relevant duties as required


This position is a seasonal role contract ending at the end of September 2023, working full time 4 days a week 7.5hrs a day, paying £10.90ph.
