Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Childcare Lawyer.


Duties of the role include:

  • Working with a friendly/supportive team handling public law care and adoption proceedings on behalf of Coventry Children's Services
  • Managing a caseload of Public Law children's cases through the court process effectively and providing quality legal services
  • Working with the inhouse advocacy team for more complex hearings, although some advocacy will be required.
  • Handling a wide variety of child protection and safeguarding matters, such as care proceedings, discharge proceedings, deprivations of liberty, and general advice
  • Managing a caseload of childcare cases and advise on all aspects of Child Protection and Safeguarding law.
  • Any other relevant duties
This position is a temporary role contracted until September 2023, working Monday-Friday 9-5, paying £55pd.
