Description
This role requires a Payroll Specialist who has experience in full cycle payroll and manual calculations. Accurately processing payroll for employeesResolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries
Collaborating with HR and Accounting departments to ensure smooth operation
Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title or department/division transfers
Re-checking payroll calculations manually
Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
Previous payroll experience
Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software, ideally Oracle
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data
Salary between £28,000 to £35,000 depending upon experience
