Our client is an extremely well regarded and highly reputable practice based in Manchester city centre, looking to expand its health litigation team with a new solicitor to handle EL/PL claims.
This team is award-winning, having received major recognition over the last few years, most recently being named as Legal Services Provider of the Year by the Health Service Journal.
RoleThe team specialises in handling clinical negligence and EL/PL claims for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and other defendant clinical negligence clients.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
Drafting reports to NHS ResolutionInterviewing witnessesDrafting witness statementsInstructing expertsInstructing counselAttend Court for Case Management Conferences and Application HearingsNegotiating settlementsHolding conferences with CounselPreparing for and attending trials and mediationsIdeal CandidateQualified solicitorDefendant EL/PL experience preferred but not essential, claimant candidates will be consideredSolid PI backgroundDriven, committed and interest in meeting needs and expectationsAbility to meet tight deadlinesIf this role is of any interest to you then contact Sam Bird at G2 Legal or apply online today.
