***The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

***The NHS and social care are experiencing unprecedented pressure and, in the news almost every day. How do we ensure that the health and care system are able to meet population needs and affordable in the longer-term? These are critical questions that the Health Foundation's REAL Centre (Research and Economic Analysis for the Long-term) was established to address. The REAL Centre has a team of 15 people based at the Health Foundation and has just awarded long-term funding to 2 academic research units in UK universities to work as partners. We are looking for an assistant director to work as a job-share partner with Dr Elaine Kelly to lead the in-house team.

We are looking for someone with a flair for using economic analysis and research to answer public policy questions. We need someone who relishes the opportunity to use research and analysis to influence decisions and inform public debate.
