Casual Deputy Head Steward

  • About the opportunity: We are looking for a number of Casual Matchday Deputy Head Stewards to join our Stewarding Team.
  • As Casual Matchday Deputy Head Steward you will hold responsibility for the supervision of all Stewards assigned to your stand or part of a stand and act as a brand ambassador for the Club, always thriving towards our motto
  • Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.
  • Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:
  • Attending pre-match briefing for discussion and dissemination of information-
  • Checking that all your Stewards are present at your briefing, correctly attired and smart in appearance-
  • Ensuring that all Stewards are in possession of their Stewards' Handbook, Fire Service Card (where appropriate) and necessary equipment
  • keys etc.
  • for their post.-
  • Briefing Stewards and ensure that they fully understand their role and responsibilities, including Emergency Procedures-
  • Liaising with Police officers in your area and provide support and quick response to any incidents-
  • Reporting any untoward incident within the section or any matter which requires evaluation, further enquiry or action by the Club, as soon as reasonably practical-
  • Constant supervision of surrounding areas to ensure the safety and security of spectators.
  • Our fans cover all different age ranges and travel far and wide to come and enjoy a matchday experience they won't forget, and have previous experience of helping and supporting a diverse customer base, then we would love to hear from you
  • This position is on a casual basis covering matchdays across the 2023/2024 season.
