Description
A prominent, family-owned, general building contractor in Central Scotland is seeking an Estimating Manager to join their team.With a reputation for delivering quality work, and maintaining strong relationships with loyal clients, this role offers the opportunity to estimate for a wide variety of privately negotiated contracts and competitive tenders across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential.
As Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): Leading the estimating and cost-planning function across multiple projects.
Liaising with external stakeholders.Developing work-winning strategies.
Managing, developing, and reviewing strategic bids.
Managing the Estimating and Quantity Surveying team.
Mentoring and assisting in training junior members of the team.
Undertaking monthly reporting.
To be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience in estimating for general building works, coupled with a thorough understanding of Scottish supply networks and materials prices.
