    What will you be doing?

    A Customer Engagement Co-ordinator is responsible for building positive relationships with customers by working at a hyper-local community level & embedding into the community to share key messages around water saving and keeping pipes clear.

    You'll take the lead in delivering the hyperlocal planned strategy for June - October 2024 for Essex & Suffolk customer engagement, sharing key water saving and keep it clear messaging in our communities through a variety of means.

    Your customer Service skills will be invaluable, as this role will involve a lot of face-to-face customer engagement activity at events and through community engagement activities; showcasing that we, at Anglian Water, are worthy of a 10 in our customer service score measure for the work we do to Make Today Great for our customers.

    The role will involve regular travel to events in key communities in Essex & Suffolk and may involve travel to meetings with external stakeholders.

    Due to the nature of the role, there will be out of hours (including weekend work) activity required to carry out the duties of the role.

    The role involves but is not limited to:
    Coordinate & deliver the Customer Engagement outreach strategy for Essex & Suffolk 2024 summer/autumn plans
    Liaise with community hub team to organise delivery & collection of community hub for events
    To be the main Anglian Water representative on the Community Hub stand as part of the Essex & Suffolk roadshow
    Provide the Community Hub briefs for all volunteers on the stand
    Engage with customers within communities to educate on behaviour change initiatives
    Identify value adding and effective partner organisations
    Capture relevant weekly data from engagement activities to feed into the Customer Engagement performance measurement for reporting and gain feedback delivering contacts into the CMeX 'pot' where possible and appropriate
    What does it take to be a Customer Engagement Coordinator?
    Ideally educated to A-Level or equivalent
    Considerable experience in a customer service role or Voluntary Organisation
    Excellent customer awareness
    Experience in developing relationships with others & building rapport quickly
    The ability to keep an absolute customer focus at all times, looking at issues from the customer's point of view
    Full driving licence (you will be required to visit various locations across the region some of which are only accessible by car)
