Packaging Technologist - Requirements

Proven track record of successfully working with packaging materials from a technical viewpoint

- (The minimum level of education/qualification and/or experience required to perform the job, excluding any on-the-job specific company training).

New incumbents would be expected to possess at least 5 O'levels/GCSEs, including passes in Maths and English.
Full driving license
FLT License
Good administration skills are essential.
Must have the ability to communicate at all levels.
Must have the ability to maintain a high level of discipline.
IT skills to support and enhance performance.
Proven track record of team working and continuous improvement objectives.
Ability to make reasoned decisions
Ability to autonomous and selfmotivated

Packaging Technologist - Responsibilities

To Perform audits of packaging suppliers manufacturing facilities and quality systems
To report any non conforming packaging to suppliers and follow up corrective actions and return of stock
To assess incoming packaging materials against specifications
To advise business on legislative and regulatory requirements pertaining to packaging of the finished product
