Digital Marketing Apprentice

A great opportunity for someone who is looking for an entry level position that involves content creation of many kinds.

The company has shipped over 1 million packs of socks in the last 12 months worldwide through multiple online selling channels

Apprenticeship summary

Annual wage:
£10,725 (To be increased to National Minimum Wage for your age after 12 months on programme.)

Working week:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (Total hours per week: 37.5)

What will the apprentice be doing?

As a digital marketing assistant, you will be working alongside our ecommerce assistants & creative designer / image editor as well as our partner advertising agencies & remote colleagues to help optimize our marketing & advertising pages.

Tasks

Image Editing
Using adobe photoshop, repurpose images that we have collected from our suppliers or taken ourselves for our online selling channels. This will involve resizing images to fit retail partners specifications.

Video Creation

Support the creation of new video content for avenues such as social media ,amazon advertising, google advertising & the website to help increase revenue.

Content Marketing

Creating content to aid other team members & agency partners who load content onto various platforms. This can include ads for Google Pmax campaigns, information panels for our products & amazon ads.

Copy Writing

Creating descriptions for products in different formats & creating copy for blogs.

Keywords & SEO

Researching keywords & creating SEO friendly content for our various selling channels including our website.

Marketplace Listing Edits

Edit product listings with updated colours, styles & sizes across our amazon & eBay stores. This would also include learning how to fix amazon listings & creating advertising campaigns.

Customer Service

Due to the seasonal nature of our business, we ask that you help us with customer service tasks during our busy period (Mid Nov
End of Jan)

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

BCS Digital Marketer Level
Google Analytics IQ

The structured part of your apprenticeship training will be provided by JBC Skills Training, we are a specialist technical IT training provider.

You will also learn on-the-job, working alongside experienced colleagues.
