    Summary

    Rethink Mental Illness are looking for a Director of Finance (remote) who will lead the finance team to meet operational objectives.

    The new Finance Director will also work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and develop financial management, compliance and reporting systems that support the delivery of the business plan and the charity's strategic plans.

    The Role

    Develop, construct, monitor and review medium and long-term financial strategies
    Lead on the annual production of the statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP
    Lead on the production of five-year financial forecasts that are based on reasonable assumptions about income and expenditure flows, cashflow and capital investment requirements
    Lead on the annual budget, forecasting and management accounts, ensuring information I available on time to budget holders
    Provide financial appraisals of business cases in respect of major projects / initiatives The Successful Candidate

    Qualified Accountant (member of ACA, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
    Team management experience
    Experience producing financial analysis that is used to inform strategic business decisions
    Excellent communication and relationship building skills What's on offer?

    Salary from £60,000- £75,000
    Remote working with the option to go into the London/ Birmingham hub
    25 days leave plus birthday off plus bank holidays
