Description

Butler Rose is currently working with a great organisation in the software industry based on the outskirts of Bedford as they look to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their team during a period of growth.

They are in the process of implementing an in-house payroll system which will be led by the Financial Controller.

The purpose of this role is to assist with this implementation process and be the face of payroll moving forward.

You will be responsible for accurately processing employee payrolls, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and handling any payroll-related inquiries from employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately processing employee payrolls, including maintaining employee data, calculating hours worked, and processing deductions
Support the transition to inhouse payroll and the migration of data
Manage holiday pay calculations and accruals
Execute monthly payroll including the roll out of payslips and reports
Produce monthly reports and ad hoc reports when required
Monitor payroll inbox
Be the face of payroll and support colleagues with queries
General day to day payroll administration
Responsible for filing P11D's, P60's and other HMRC requirements
Update new starters, leavers, timesheets, overtime and absences on a regular basis
