    Join Our Team as an Office Manager at a Family Run Business in Richmond, North Yorkshire

    Here's an exciting opportunity to become a part of a successful family business in Richmond, North Yorkshire. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

    As the chosen candidate, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning, and providing support to our administrative team. Your responsibilities will also involve upholding policies and procedures to guarantee operational efficiency.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Supervising administrative staff, managing office workflow, and offering feedback for enhanced performance.
    • Handling company correspondence such as phone calls, emails, and letters.
    • Acting as the primary contact for suppliers and overseeing office supplies restocking.
    • Managing ordering processes and ensuring timely production of goods.
    • Collaborating with production partners to meet lead times and provide customer updates.
    • Implementing and managing office policies and health & safety procedures.
    • Keeping track of office expenditures and handling data responsibilities including GDPR compliance.
    • Conducting research, compiling reports, and assisting with project work.
    • Supporting HR functions, conducting staff appraisals, and training programs.
    • Demonstrating strong people management skills and flexibility to address any office needs effectively.

    Requirements for the ideal candidate:

    • Proven expertise in office management or similar roles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
    • Effective team management capabilities and delegation skills.
    • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Strong administrative and clerical competencies.
    • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
