Position Responsibilities:

This position is in charge of overseeing financial operations in the EMEA region, managing Project Accounting, working capital, and staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Job Cost Accounting and Reporting
  • Revenue Recognition
  • Contract and Rate Administration
  • Accounts Receivable/Billing
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchase Order/Commitment Administration
  • Project Administration as needed

Main Activities and Responsibilities:
  • Create and share regular financial reports and KPIs
  • Analyze reports and collaborate with Senior Divisional leadership on solutions
  • Manage day-to-day project accounting tasks
  • Ensure billing and revenue recognition deadlines are met
  • Oversee project forecasting and compliance with accounting policies
  • Address performance issues and improve team coordination
  • Interact with clients when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
  • Organize financial meetings for new projects and major accounts
  • Assist in business development activities

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Management
  • MBA or related degree is a plus
  • 10+ years' experience in construction industry
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in general accounting principles and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Oracle and other accounting software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Preferred Skills: Prioritization, Multi-Tasking, Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Persuasion, Attention to Detail
