SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE


As Social Media Executive, you'll be motivated in getting a passionate community engaged with our amazing cycling content, and talking with our audiences.

You'll make sure that our fans feel part of our community


You will be part of a friendly and enthusiastic social media team - the team is responsible for publishing content, engaging our community and growing our audience.

As part of your induction, you will be supported by and learn from the team and our experienced Head of Community.

Plus, our creative, design, production, ecommerce and marketing teams will all help you get up to speed.


This is the perfect role for someone who loves cycling and has a keen interest in working in the media industry.

We want someone who cares passionately about cycling, and will celebrate someone's first 10k ride as much as their 100th 100km ride.

Ideally you'll love road cycling, but be able to speak to, and talk to people about things as varied as clipping in your pedals to deciding between tubes or tubeless.


You'll develop expertise in picking up our tone of voice, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable interacting with our audiences across all of our platforms on a daily basis.

This role is based in our Bath offices.


The Role:


  • Publish engaging and shareable video content to our YouTube and other social media channels for our road cycling channels.
  • Play a key role in optimising these posts to maximise views and building a strong community.
  • With the team, lead on tagging content for commercial reporting.
  • Help to maintain a high level of community engagement across all platforms.
  • Other relevant social media and community management duties, as required.

Skills, Knowledge, Attitudes and Experience:


  • A good knowledge of cycling and bike technology, or the ability to pick this up quickly.
  • Excellent focus on customer service and an understanding of how to build / grow an online community.
  • An eye for detail, able to perform essential quality control checks on content, and analyse themes you see emerging in our communities.
  • You'll enjoy working with people.
  • Basic knowledge of public relations principles to protect and build a brand.
  • We are looking for someone with good written English and a love of all things bike related to build engagement within our wider community and help with content distribution across our various platforms. You'll need to be able to pick up house style and tone of voice.
  • As you'll be working on YouTube and our other social media platforms, to grow our community by responding to our fans
  • Once in the role of Social Media Executive, you'll learn to talk about bikes and bike tech with confidence and passion as well as have an understanding of brand messaging within the cycling space.
