Main Purpose of the Job (general tasks):
To provide support and assistance to the HR Business Partner to ensure all ER cases are managed effectively in line with company policy, and Employee Legislation.
Collate and assess ER statistics identifying patterns, trends, and solutions.Provide coaching, guidance and advice to the operational leadership as necessary.
Responsibilities (detailed tasks):
Offering generalist HR advice to Managers and employees whilst ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
Support and manage employee relations case work. To include but not limited to disciplinaries, grievances, performance cases and sickness cases.
Monitoring sickness levels within the area, identifying trends and patterns and supporting with solutions to improve sickness levels.
Coach managers to build, establish and maintain a positive and engaged work place in which people exercise discretion and effort to improve performance;
Providing general HR support to the team e.g. adhoc administration support.
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
Providing advice on current Employment Legislation, ensuring equality of opportunity;
Supporting with contract variation, Transfer of Undertakings and redundancies if required;
Planning, and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff;
Collecting and analysing leaver data. Including conducting exit interviews.

Ensuring LHR & Managers are fully supported.
Minimal ET cases
Information / advice source for Company Managers and Staff.
Refinement of Company HR processes and procedures.
KPIs and Performance improvements e.g. absence statistics
Assist production and progress of strategic plans

Previous experience in HR is essential along with managing your own case load
