About this Role:
Salisbury Road Primary School are looking for an After School Club Assistant who can support high quality and varied activities for the children within a safe and caring environment.
The After School Club Assistant will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the club.
We are looking for an After School Club Assistant who will:
- Deliver a varied programme of high-quality play opportunities in a safe environment
- Support the development of independent social skills
- Help to prepare snacks, cleaning club room and toys, reporting any damages and tidying up etc
- Help to implement positive behaviour strategies
- Liaise with parents to enable the effective operation of the club
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
About the School
Salisbury Road is two form entry primary school that serves the locality of St Judes, near the city centre.
We are situated in a large, three-storey, Victorian building in the heart of the community, and work closely with many local partners.
