The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant (Relief Bank) to join our friendly and supportive team, based at our Solihull Retirement Village in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly team at our Solihull Retirement Village and support the village's commitment in delivering ExtraCare's mission of "better lives for older people".

Role Details

Position: Hospitality Assistant
Relief Bank
Rate: £10.90 per hour
Location: Solihull Retirement Village, Birmingham, B90 2EL
ExtraCare _does not_ participate in the current "_UK Visa Sponsorship_" scheme. You must be able to evidence your _Right to Work in the UK._

What will you do as our Hospitality Assistant?

That tables are set smartly and neatly, where appropriate.
Table linen is crease free, clean and in good condition, where appropriate.
All tables are laid correctly; crockery and cutlery are in good condition and clean.
All glasses are smear free and in good condition.
Appropriate background music is playing prior to the opening of the restaurant doors.
To keep the restaurant clean i.e., vacuuming and dusting on a daily basis
That appropriate feeding aids are available when required.

Our ideal Hospitality/Catering Assistant will have:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Team player
Flexibility
Previous Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant experience, desirable but not essential
Also, previous experience in similar role ideally, although training will be given.
