We are seeking a confident, organised and experienced individual to join our team as a Practice Education Administrator, supporting the Department of Health Sciences in the placement of its students across a range of clinical organisations and environments.

You will be engaging with teaching staff across the Division of Nursing, and external placement providers for both our undergraduate and apprenticeship students.


The purpose of the role is to deliver excellent operational support that would provide a positive learning experience to our students prior to, during and following their off-campus practice education activities.

Additionally, the role involves reviewing and improving our existing processes to deliver these aspects of their degree programmes more effectively and efficiently.


Key elements of this role include working closely with a Practice Learning Coordinator to deliver the various requirements of any practice (placement) based activity (e.g.

DBS or immunisation checks for students) and recording appropriate student activity.

  • The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Excellent IT and technical skills across a broad range of packages
  • A demonstrable track record of providing a highquality administrative support service, obtained from any industry or sector
  • Excellent organisation, time keeping and team working skills
  • The ability to prioritise your own workload under minimum supervision
  • Demonstrable evidence of CPD
