We currently have a great opportunity for a professional Cleaner to join our team here in Swansea.

This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

The Cleaner is responsible for designated areas within our student accommodation including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and all white goods contained in the kitchens.

This will include:

Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors and clean stairs
Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators, lampshades as appropriate
Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas
During the summer season only: Make beds, including stripping and changing sheeting collection of laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry for collection
Clean internal and external windows, where applicable
Clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, as appropriate
Daily liaison with the residents, Managers and associated UPP employees
Act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all timesWe are looking for you to already have experience of cleaning in a similar environment and have great communication and organisation skills, as students will often be around during the day. You will clean to a high standard, have a great attention to detail, the ability to multi

- task and overall have the passion to do an excellent job.

You will need to have a good conversational standard of the English language and ability to read English to ensure you can use our systems and keep up to date with our Health & Safety guidance.

You will also be prepared to work (with notice) at other sites if required and additional hours when the need arises, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends each year.
