Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Bioanalytical Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Bioanalytical Scientist you will be responsible for small and large molecule LC-MS bioanalysis to support early drug discovery activities.
This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Bioanalytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will be experienced in LC-MS and LC-HRMS. Examples of specific analytical tools are ideally Sciex LC-MS/MS and Thermo Q-Exactive HRMS. 2. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will have worked as a Bioanalytical Scientist within a Pharmaceutical company or CRO. 3. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will be working with large and small molecule projects (Experience with both are ideal but small molecules experience is a must). 4. As the Bioanalytical Scientist, you will have strong working knowledge of analytical software packages such as Analyst, XCalibur, Discovery Quant, Compound Discoverer) and automation platforms (e.g. Hamilton).Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bioanalytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a Pharmaceutical/ Bioanalytical related discipline. 2. Proven industry experience working as a Bioanalytical Scientist, working with LC-MS and other analytical tools, such as Sciex LC-MS/MS and Thermo Q-Exactive HRMS. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Small and Large Molecules (At least Small Molecule experience is essential).
