Specialist Health Practitioner ; Specialist under 5's Mental Health Practitioner Developmental Post with training in parent/infant child psychotherapy
Exciting and innovative developments are taking place in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly CAMHS.

Following the learning from our successful pilot, Thriving Together, we are looking to develop a specialist parent/infant relationship team (0-5yrs).

Thriving Together has collaborated in a whole system approach to supporting the mental health of parent(s), babies, and young children.

The adaptation of the Thrive service delivery model has led to strategic developments taking place across the Local Maternity System, Best Start in Life practitioner's, Perinatal, Voluntary and Third Sector organisations.


Main duties of the job:


The post holder will hold a clinical caseload and manage and process referrals for allocated therapeutic intervention as well as be supported to train in parent/infant psychotherapy.

The post holder will also provide supervision, deliver presentations and training. In addition, the post holder will be expected to attend parent/infant pscychotherapy training.
