Live in PA / Carer / Graduate / Support Worker to Performing Arts Student - Performers College Birmingham

About our Client
Our client is in her first year at Performers College Birmingham.

She has a diagnosis of ASD and a brain injury, which means she sees the world differently to others.

Our client loves dancing, singing and acting


She leads an active social life, meeting up with friends and family to go shopping, eating out or the cinema.

With a kind and delightful persona, she is keen to embrace the full University life.

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care.

This is also a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing
, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, attending events and much more


Start Date:
January 2023


Working:
Live-in 7 days on / 7 days off


Pay:
£140 Per day


Location:
Performers College Birmingham

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.


A driver is not essential for this role, but if you are, you must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you may driving our client's adapted car.

5.6 week's holiday pro rata.


About You


You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.


You will need:


  • To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • To have a good sense of humour
  • A mature and responsible attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • To be fluent in English.
  • To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
  • To be fully vaccinated
  • To be a nonsmoker
