You don't need experience in care as a Support Worker to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too


The Role
You will be joining our dynamic and friendly team providing person centred support across our two services in Irvine. The people we support enjoy getting out and exploring new places in their cars.

One of the gentlemen we support goes swimming every week so we would need you to be comfortable getting into the pool.

We'll be looking to you to take an active interest in their hobbies and support them with inclusion in their local community.


As a Support Practitioner, you will support with day to day personal needs including meal planning, cooking, support to appointments, personal care and medication.

We'll need you to be flexible in your approach and be able to follow guidelines. This is a lone working position.


For this role it is essential you hold a full, UK driving licence as the people we support have their own mobility cars.
To be a great Support Practitioner we will need you have the following qualities;

  • Great communication skills.
  • Can think outside the box.
  • Caring attitude and approach.
  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Full, manual UK driving licence (min 1 year driving experience).
  • Confidence in the use of technology.

Shift Patterns


Our services provides 24/7 care, our days shifts are 8:45am - 9:00pm and our waking night shifts are 8:45pm - 9am.

Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate, plus an additional payment of £20 per night.

If you're successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.

**We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
