About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for two Help & Support Advisers to join our high performing Library & Learning Services department and contribute to our welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional service for students, staff, and University customers.


As a first point of contact, your approachable and friendly manner, coupled with outstanding listening skills will enable you to unpick, resolve and triage enquiries across a myriad of enquiry types from traditional library support and IT assistance, to aiding customers to find answers/assistance with wellbeing and money advice support needs.

About You

As Help & Support Adviser you will:

  • have experience of providing customer and solution-focussed support
- have excellent customer service and communication skills with an ability to build rapport and relationships with individuals and services.
- be self-motivated and able to prioritise workload using your initiative
- have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software with the ability to troubleshoot, support and educate end users in IT and key systems
