PROCUREMENT OFFICER - SC (security clearance) REQUIRED

Hybrid (Primarily remote but visits to the Andover office 1-2 days per week are expected as and when required)

As a Procurement Officer your main responsibilities would be:

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships within all areas within the Army, specifically D Info, ensuring requirements are placed on contract in a timely and effective manner, meeting both D Info Commercial and Customer needs.
  • Prepare, draft, approve, issue, evaluate, award documentation (within Commercial Licence delegation) and management of all contracts within the team's remit, delivered for D Info.
  • Provide assurance that all commercial activity is conducted in accordance with current EU Procurement and Government procurement policy.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the current and developing issues within the business area.
  • Examine, negotiate and authorise noncompetitive contract amendments within delegated authority.
  • Provide a reactive and resourceful response to emerging commercial issues and risks, often delivering crisis management/problem solving when required to the local team, commercial senior management and the Army customer.
  • Ensure all Management Information (MI) data is kept up to date.
  • Make full use of the CP&F system for contract drafting procurement and contract management.

You'll have relevant experience in:


  • Public Procurement
  • Tender process
  • Managing contracts
  • Contract drafting


  • CIPS Level

  • MS Office Suite


  • CPNF System

  • Payment System (desirable not essential)
