A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer for a revamped, busy & refurbished corporate retail shopping centre. It sits at the heart of the West End, home to the best in retail and entertainment. Located between the iconic Selfridges and the renowned Oxford Circus, West One truly is the gateway to London.

The applicant will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

Job Requirements:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
• Security Experience is required
• Ideally retail or customer service sector
• Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
• Must have good command of English language
• Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• Must have five years of checkable work history

• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• The ability to be proactive and think on your feet use initiative
• To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
• To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
• The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, conducting emergency procedures. Fire exit checks, Reporting of defects on site, Basic IT, customer service, radio communications
• To have a smart appearance befitting the company
• Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
