£21,700 per annum (pro-rota) / £11.13 per hour


Hours: 22.5 hours per week, between 8.00 am pm (flexible)

Contract: 30-month fixed-term contract (Until March 2026)

The Black Country Living Museum is looking for a Bookings Administrator.

In this role, you will encourage our local schools to take part in the Museum's Key Stage 1 'Little Makers Project' specifically to contact and arrange school trips.


What will you be doing?

  • Delivering respectful and inclusive customer service to local schools.
  • Proactively contact schools to arrange bookings.
  • Organising staff resources to support bookings by creating itineraries and communicating details internally and externally.
  • Maintaining uptodate knowledge and understanding of the Museums' offers, prices, benefits, and program of activities to promote the 'Little Makers' project to schools.
  • Providing and maintaining accurate information and record keeping.
  • Using the Museum's CRM and ticketing system to enable accurate and professional communication.
  • Liaising with project partners to coordinate transportation for schools.
  • Providing updates and reports on school bookings and any other ticketing activity as requested.
  • Supporting the Museums' wider Ticketing Team when required.

  • Excellent IT skills (ideally CRM experience).
  • Adaptable, organised, and methodical approach to work.
