We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join us as a Head of HR Business Partner.


Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this role will be responsible for leading the HR Business Partner and Advisor team and delivering the people and culture elements of our Shaping our Future strategy.

You will be part of our organisation's seniorleadership team and play a key role in our journey to a high-performance culture.

The role will combine both strategic and operational elements.

You will be responsible for driving forward the ongoing people agenda and supporting the CPO in the delivery of key HR projects in line with our Shaping our Future Strategy and business transformation.

You lead a team to manage complex Employee Relations cases and support senior managers facilitating change, driving engagement, and leading on TUPE and organisation redesign and restructure.

  • Have a proven track record of leading a high performing team in which individuals are engaged and motivated.
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, financially literate, and able to show good commercial judgment.
  • CIPD qualified and evidence of relevant continuous professional development e.g., coaching, psychometrics.
  • Experience of leading a team of operational HR professionals within a changing and evolving culture.
  • Excellent understanding of developments in employment law and employee relations and specifically legislation governing TUPE.
