    • Offer specialist advice and safe clinical care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence-based practice for cardiothoracic patients.

    Please Note

    This position is on a fixed-term contract for a 3-year apprenticeship/training program. Eligible candidates must be UK, EEA, or EU residents for the past three years.

    Person Specification

    Education and Qualifications

    • Must be a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience and eligible to pursue a full MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
    • Continuous professional development, life support qualification, and additional qualifications are beneficial.

    Experience

    • Prior experience in training, team collaboration, and multi-disciplinary work is essential.
    • Autonomous practice exposure and contributions to service improvements are advantageous.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and manage challenging situations.
    • Leadership, clinical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and patient-centric approach are key attributes.
