Description
Working on behalf of our client whose based is in Elland, Yorkshire.We are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical FitterKey Duties:
Supervising a Mechanical Team to complete Mechanical installation and repair projects at various sites across Yorkshire and occasionally the wider UK.This is a hands on supervisory role which will be specialising in the installation and repair of scrapers used in the water treatment process.
Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine installation requirements.Assemble and install mechanical components, including scrapers and associated equipment, according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform alignment, adjustment, and testing of scrapers to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to scraper installation or operation.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
CSCS Gold Card / Level 3 NVQSSSTS / SMSTSProven experience supervising a small team of mechanical fitters. Preferably in the water industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Happy to work away from home for periods of time.

£19 per hour basic pay
