**Interim Capital Accountant | 6 months + | Remote Working | Local Government
Duties;

  • Leading on capital monitoring, capital closedown and related financial notes for the Statement of Accounts
  • Providing technical input to ensure the Council fulfils its responsibilities under IFRS Code and Accounts and Audit Regulations
  • Providing financial insight to support key decision making for high profile capital projects
  • Producing and presenting capital reports to Members and Officers
The person;

  • Qualified Accountant, or Qualified by Experience
  • Experience within Local Government Finance
  • Experience leading the capital closedown
