More about your role


Your role as Support Coordinator will involve offering a service to women and children at risk of domestic abuse who are residing at the service.


Working to a very high standard it is vitally important that you ensure clients get the support they need, offering a bespoke service specific to individual needs, in particular safety planning.

You will have an individual caseload of clients, helping them move to independent or appropriate supported accommodation.

You will ensure all administration is up to date on a daily basis to make sure service delivery can be maintained.

This is a demandingbut highly rewarding role and it will be your professional and flexible approach that will make you successful in the role.


You will be supported in your development and everyday activity by your fellow colleagues at the service including the Scheme Manager.

Although we have an established and effective framework of internal policies and procedures in place to support you andthe clients, you will also liaise, seek advice and work closely with external and statutory organisations such as social services, health authorities and other specialist providers as required.

The interviews for this role will take place on the 25th January 2023.


The role is to cover maternity leave from February 2023 to February 2024
This is a full time role, you will work Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.

You are also expected to lone work on some bank holidays and during the period between Christmas and New Year as we are a 24 hour service.

More about you


To be considered for this post it is essential that you have knowledge of safeguarding adults and children as well as supporting vulnerable client groups.

Knowledge of the issues faced by women and children at risk of domestic abuse is vital.
You shouldalso have a local knowledge of the area and external agencies and be computer literate with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and will also be expected to demonstrate at interview an ability to assess and deal with conflicting demands within a fastpacing environment
