Group Financial Planning Analyst, NI


Reed is partnered with a major global manufacturing client,
with sites across NI,in the appointment of a permanent & full time
Group Financial Planning Analyst.


The Group Financial Planning Analyst assists the VP of Finance with the preparation of financial information, analysis, and reporting on a consolidated basis.

This includes monthly and quarterly financials to meet corporate requirements as well as variousconsolidated financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of weekly business performance scorecard summary
  • Preparation of weekly bookings and backlog report and analysis
  • Coordination of and summary reporting on the business unit monthly review call
  • Preparation of financial data for the unit's monthly site presentation decks
  • Preparation of commentaries on weekly and monthly reports and results
  • Preparation of monthly group pack for VP Finance
  • Monthly reporting on nonrecurring items
  • Monthly results distribution to the unit's management team
  • Working with Corporate FP&A team to prepare a portion of the entire Monthly review deck
  • Coordination of the budget, forecast and strategy process
  • Coordination of the reporting and budgeting calendar
  • Coordination of quarterly review of site SOX testing
  • Work with HR in calculating annual bonus achievement / semiannual update of the same
  • Various ad hoc requests and improvement projects as agreed with VP Finance

Essential Criteria:


  • Bachelor's degree with appropriate combination of education and experience
  • Qualified member or finalist of a professional accounting body (either CCAB affiliate or CIMA)
  • More than 3 years of experience in an accounting role in public practice or industry
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
  • Manufacturing experience is highly desirable with experience of US GAAP
