Senior Practitioner / Approved Mental Health Practitioner - Ref: SS00924

Salary:
G10 £42,403 - £47,420 per annum


Contract:
Part-time, permanent

This is an exciting time to join Walsall Council's Adult Social Care service.

We are seeking a part time AMHP / Senior Practitioner to join our current AMHP Hub within Walsall. The hub operates a 24 hour service across the week, 365 days per year.

You will work on a rota system which is supported by other AMHP who are based within the locality and mental health teams.


You will need to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge and understanding the Mental Health Act, The Mental Capacity Act, The Children Act and The Care Act.

You will be expected to undertake Mental health Act Assessments and planned work such as CTO's.

You will be expected to contribute towards the ongoing learning and development of staff and students across Adult Social Care.
