Unified Communications ICT Officer, Grade 6 + Shift Allowance

IT NETWORKS /CISCO/ CCNA/VOIP/ NETWORKS/ AZURE NETWORKING/ SWITCHES/ ROUTERS/ MOBILE PHONES


Hull City Council is recruiting an ICT Network Officer to join a busy and dedicated team at our data centre in Kingston upon Hull.


As an ICT officer you will be working in a dedicated ICT Networks team as part of a wider Digital and ICT teams, with responsibility for operating and supporting a large Cisco & Azure network including a substantial mobile phone estate.

You'll need a keen interest in developing your ICT networking skills and be able to demonstrate a customer focused attitude.


Experience of the following technologies would be beneficial but not essential as training and development will be provided: Cisco network hardware including routers/switches/wifi, MS Azure, Web Filtering, Antivirus software, Android Mobile phones, Microsoft Intune, SIEM technologies.


You'll be required to work an alternate two-shift pattern (shift one - 6.45am to 15.15pm and shift two pm to 22.45pm) Monday to Friday providing an appropriate shift allowance.
