    Description
    We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our client who has a fantastic E-commerce presence. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of parts for our e-commerce business. Attention to detail, computer literacy, and system savviness are essential for this role.

    Responsibilities:
    • Accurately pick and pack engineering parts based on customer orders and purchase requests.
    • Utilise warehouse management systems and software to receive, process, and fulfill orders.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are being packed for each order.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper stock rotation and inventory management.
    • Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
    • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming stock, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.
    • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, manifesting, and arranging courier pickups.
    • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment centre environment is preferred but not essential.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in using warehouse management systems or similar software.
    • Familiarity with inventory control procedures and basic knowledge of engineering parts is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
    • Physical stamina to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and moving light objects.

    Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10 am-3 pm
