We are looking for caring and dedicated people who are committed to sharing our vision of 'improving lives and building independence'.

Fairways is a small friendly run, 27 bed residential care home. We are looking to find a full-time Housekeeper to join our welcoming and supportive team.


As a Housekeeper you will be supporting our service with infection control and cleanliness processes and will be in contact with our residents, potentially offering support and wellbeing to them.

You will be introduced and trained to use our systems to support daily reporting and documentation.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Undertaking general cleaning tasks in clients' rooms and communal areas.
  • Keeping basic records up to date, including cleaning charts in rooms.
  • Getting to know clients' requirements and preferences and providing a personalised service.
  • The ability to work flexibly including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
  • The ability to use a range of cleaning equipment.
  • The ability to read and carry out basic instructions.
  • Good written English skills to complete cleaning records.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
37 hours per week.
