- Provide comprehensive support for intricate Networking issues to both business and IT colleagues.
- Act as a primary escalation point for the IT Helpdesk.
- Monitor alerts and provide support to the external Security Operations Centre to enhance network security.
- Supervise Wireless Infrastructure administration.
- Manage new network installations including cabling installations and lifecycle upgrades to preserve network integrity.
- Administer the IP Telephony System.
- Assist in IT infrastructure procurement.
- Conduct site IP Network administration.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for IT network resilience.
- Offer valuable insights to enhance the IT network.
- Proficiency in IT Networking and Network Security (CCNA / CCNP certified).
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Infrastructure and End User Computing.
- Effective communication with IT users and third parties.
- Ability to balance daily tasks with project obligations.
- Customer-centric approach for prompt and top-quality IT support.

I am thrilled to collaborate with a leading global distribution company once again in their search for a skilled and dynamic Network Engineer.
Salary: £42,000
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
Hybrid Working: No. This role requires you to be on-site.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
The organization has recently undergone significant financial investments, implementing new technologies. This has created a plethora of immediate project opportunities alongside the day-to-day IT infrastructure support.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a part of the expanding IT Support Team, you will collaborate closely with the infrastructure team to offer senior IT support across the site and lead various upcoming projects. Working within a cohesive team dedicated to maintaining a cutting-edge infrastructure, the role will be diverse and fast-paced, requiring the ability to work under pressure and adapt swiftly.
